Effects of Global Warming

Hurricanes and other storms are likely to become stronger. Greenhouse gases can stay in the atmosphere for an amount of years ranging from decades to hundreds and thousands of years. Diseases will spread, such as malaria carried by mosquitoes. Sea level rise became faster over the last century. Precipitation has increased across the globe, on average. Cloud and forests are drying. Glaciers are melting. Temperature of oceans rises, so hurricanes will be more frequent and stronger. Less fresh water will be available. Ecosystems will change. Wildlife is scrambling. Species that depend on one another may become out of sync. Droughts and heat waves intensity will increase. Polar ice caps melting. Rainfall in Ethiopia, where droughts are already common, could decline by 10% over the next 50years. Global Warming will intensify winds, rains and storms.
